Legal Basis
The EPT and CEPT templates support PRIIP Regulation (EU No 1286/2014), which requires product manufacturers to deliver standardised information to investors.
The EMT template is used to meet the MiFID II requirements (Directive 2014/65/EU) by providing structured data on target markets, costs and distribution. All templates follow the standard of the FinDatEx working group and are essential for EU-wide data exchange.

This includes information about the product, its cost structure, the target market and potential performance. The data must be accurate, consistent and delivered in a way that meets the format rules defined by PRIIP and MiFID II regulations.
